FIDM Fashion Show

Sorry for not posting in a while, but I had a good reason! I was down in Orlando, Florida, for about a week competing at DECA's International Career Development Conference and covering FIDM's Fashion Show that was put on during the opening ceremonies of the Conference. It was truly unique and I was so happy be down there covering the show!



























This was the first dress shown to me. The designer was very industrial and dipped this jacket in cement.

I was recently informed by a friend about a unique line from the Middle East! I just received an email with all the press photos and information and I just had to share!!

Designers Shaikha Noor Rashid Al Khalifa and Shaikha Haya Mohammed Al Khalifa of the high-end women’s luxury line, Noon By Noor, revealed their Fall/Winter 2011-2012 collection on Thursday, March 10th at a fashion show hosted in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Sixty guests, including journalists and prominent figures in the fashion industry, gathered at this exclusive event in the Noon By Noor showroom to witness the unraveling of thirty looks from the Fall/Winter collection.

 The information above comes from the press information sent to me. The brand looks fantastic and I could see it becoming very common among the fashion elite. Check out some looks from the show:

You can see the Middle Eastern influence, but not too overpowering so it couldn't be worn by people in the West. Thank you Noon By Noor for these beautiful images!

Hello Betsey!

Sorry about my long absence! I was trying to not post because my next post is my 100th! I wanted to do something special and I think I have it! But first I wanted to share that you can get a BJ. Betsey Johnson, of course! (Get your mind out of the gutter!)

Or otherwise know as Put On The Gloves is an amazing organization for the LBGT youth community in the DC/Metro area. Their upcoming fashion show is attracting quite a buzz for the amount of local celebrity support.

Those to be attending include:

• Mya -  The Emmy winning performer.
• Ebs Burnough - White House Deputy Social Secretary.
• Phillip Bloch - Celebrity Stylist
• And a lot more!

Bloch will be co-hosting the show, which will take place January 27th at Town, a club in DC.
