Fashion Star Week 3

I am now a panelist for the show on NBC4! You can chat with DC's Who's Who of the fashion scene every Tuesday on NBC4!

Here we go:

The conversation last night was great! Members included Maggy Francois, Angie Goff of NBC4, Aba Bonney Kwawu, James Cornwell, DewdropDC, Katherine Kennedy, and many more! These chic Washingtonians dished on their favorites of the episode, made critiques, and we all tried to guess who would get a buy before it happened!

These designers were purchased last night:

Above: The looks purchased by Saks Fifth Avenue. They are available at the Tysons Galleria location and online.

Above: The pieces purchased by Macy's. They are available online.

Above: The pieces purchased by H&M. They are available at the Tysons Corner location and online. (Ed. Note: Dress: $29.95 and Shorts $24.95

Overall the experience was great and it was wonderful to see so many people engaged in a show at once. I can't wait for next and you should join us too on NBC4!

Team Elie Visits DC

This past weekend, members of Elie Tahari's PR team came to Saks Fifth Avenue Tysons Galleria for an amazing Spring fashion show. The show was packed with many of Washington's fashion power players and shoppes eager to see the collection.
I love these types of fashion shows because the people that make Elie Tahari happen behind the scenes can come forward and tell you what they love most. Also, many fans would never have the change to meet a corporate team member for any of their favorite brands This opportunity allows them to engage wit the team.

Prada Spring Resort Collection Preview

Today, my fellow editor Elizabeth Houge and I ventured to Saks Fifth Avenue at Tysons Galleria for a preview of the Prada Spring Resort Collection. We were very impressed by the collection and this Sak's new, intimate viewing area. Enjoy:

Prada Preview Party

Say that five times fast!

I was just invited to another amazing Saks event! This time it is the Trunk Show for the upcoming Spring Resort pieces from the House of Prada.

Thank you Saks! These photos sums up everyone's feelings:

I took these photos during All Access Fashion last year!

A new Follower!

I was so thrilled to see this email:

Kay Unger is an incredible designer and is very sweet. She is actively involved with many charities as well.

Kay tweeted me this:

As you can tell she is wonderful! Check out some pictures from her fashion show at Saks at Tysons Galleria:

Looking Way Back: Interviewing Kay Unger

Over six months ago I was able to interview Kay Unger! She was a joy and was sweet while talking to me. I mainly asked her questions about Phoebe Couture, her collection for a younger audience. Apparently Phoebe is the name of her business partner's daughter - how sweet, right!?

What I'm wearing: What Goes Around Comes Around tee shirt and blazer. Not shown: Fossil watch and American Eagle light-wash denim.

All Access Fashion 2010: Part 2

My apologies for doing this in parts. It just keeps me more organized. But now for the good stuff! I really haven't talked about fashion just yet, but now I shall. Here are pics from the main show of All Access Fashion. This was the debut of the Paul Sinclaire's Sinclaire 10 collection from Saks. Enjoy

This is a picture looking down on the event floor from the second level outside Burberry. I had All Access to the entire event.

I spy Paul Wharton and Stacie Scott Turner from the Real Housewives of DC. Other Housewives came out that evening as well.
Please don't mind the lighting. It was changing constantly with the pounding of the music.

Another eye spy. This time Kate Michaels, former Miss DC.
